Fiber Optic Rings
This PROFIBUS DP RS485 copper cable to Fiber Optic Link module is available in a Multi-Mode option or a Single-Mode option. Multi-Mode allows for 5 km fiber optic cable lengths, while the Single-Mode allows for 50 km cable lengths. There is 1 Fiber Optic cable split into 2 ports.
Redundancy
There are 2 galvanic isolated RS485 copper PROFIBUS segments. Use these with other ProfiHubs or ComBricks to create redundant copper cable runs between the hubs.
